It is clear that the narrators of the hadith are thiqah and saduq ones.

Let’s see another sources, for this incident.

“Sufyan b. Uyaynah brought the news of Ali’s death to Hijaz. When Ayesha (ra) was informed about the murder of Ali (ra), she said:

“she threw down her staff and settled upon her place of abode, like the traveller happy to return home”.

This couplet is from the poem of jahiliyyah. And this was used when there were calmness and happiness after some sorrow and difficulties. “She threw down her staff” is a sign to calmness of the heart and gladness of somebody. When somebody calm down and become happy, it was said: “somebody threw down the staff”.

And Aisha’s spite against Imam Ali is not only from the battle of Jamal. Salih b. Abdul-Aziz b. Muhammad ash-Sheikh said:

And Aisha, the daughter of Abu Bakr as-Siddiq and the wife of the Prophet (s) joined them and she was sick of Ali, because he mentioned divorcing her
from the Prophet (s) to divorce her after the scandal incident.

We read in Sahih Bukhari and in other sources that Aisha even didn’t like to hear the name of Imam Ali .

….Narrated az-Zuhri: Ubaidullah b.Abdullah told me that ‘Aisha had said.: “When the Prophet became seriously ill and his disease became aggravated he asked for permission from his wives to be nursed in my house and he was allowed. He came out with the help of two men and his legs were dragging on the ground. He was between al-Abbas and another man.”

Ubaidullah said, “I told Ibn Abbas what Aisha had narrated and he said, ‘Do you know who was the (second) man whose name Aisha did not mention'” I said, ‘No.’ Ibn Abbas said, ‘He was Ali Ibn Abi Talib.”

Sahih Muslim, v.1, p.312, №418 / Tahqiq: Muhammad Fuad Abdul-Baqi, Darihya alTurath alArabi, Beirut.

Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani in his “Fathul-bari” and Badruddin al-Ayni in his “Umdatul-qari” wrote about this matter:

His saying: he said: he is Ali b. Abi Talib.

al-Ismaeli added: from Abdulrazaq’s narrations, from Muammar, “but Aisha herself was not kind/good to him” and Ibn Ishaaq in “al-Maghazi”, narrated from az-Zuhri that “but she didn’t posses the ability to mention him in a good way”.

Ahmad b. Hanbal narrated this riwayah in his “Musnad”, and in the end wrote:

But she is averse to name him in a good context.

And brother Slave of Ahlubait has already posted sahih hadiths (source1 and source2) about this matter.
