he was asked this question

Question:- sir! our opponents say that shia believe in wilayat-e-takwiniyyah of infallible; and this means that they have the option to do what they like in matters of takween; and they do not need any mashiat/liking from allah and this is pure shirk; what do you say about this

Answer:-  as per my knowledge, there is no shia scholar who had claimed that humans (including prophets and oosiyya) can perform matters of takwiniyya on their own

and even if someone comes out from some cornor, he has no significance because the concepts of any religion are taken from the scholars of that religion, and not from any third party

wilayat-e-takwiniyya means that the will of infallible is as per will of allah; for example hazrat esa would treat leper or born blind; now, allah is the one who is giving health , but the will of esa is also involved in it

let me explain it with another example

allah says in quran

اللَّهُ يَتَوَفَّى الْأَنْفُسَ حِينَ مَوْتِهَا

Allah takes the souls at the time of their death,

[surat zumar, verse 42]

here we see that giving death is the act of allah, but we also find

but in surat sujda we find

11.    ۞ قُلْ يَتَوَفَّاكُمْ مَلَكُ الْمَوْتِ الَّذِي وُكِّلَ بِكُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمْ تُرْجَعُونَ

Say: The angel of death who is given charge of you shall cause you to die, then to your Lord you shall be brought back.

same is the case for agriculture, the one who cultivates everything is allah; but the act of farmer and earth is also there

also in case of patients, allah is the one who cures; but the significance of prayer and medicine is also there

allah is the one who causes rain; but namaz-e-istisqa has its own value

whatever aimmah asws do in regards to matters of takween, they do that by the powers of what allah gave them; so there is not glimpse of shirk in that
