We find in Musnad Ahmad

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سُفْيَانَ، يُحَدِّثُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْأَقْمَرِ، عَنْ أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ – وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، وَكَانَ طَلْحَةُ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْهُ – عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: ” حَكَيْتُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلًا فَقَالَ: ” مَا يَسُرُّنِي أَنِّي حَكَيْتُ رَجُلًا، وَأَنَّ لِي كَذَا وَكَذَا، قَالَتْ: فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ صَفِيَّةَ امْرَأَةٌ – وَقَالَ بِيَدِهِ كَأَنَّهُ يَعْنِي قَصِيرَةً – فَقَالَ: ” لَقَدْ مَزَجْتِ بِكَلِمَةٍ، لَوْ مُزِجَ بِهَا مَاءُ الْبَحْرِ مَزَجَتْ ”

“Ayesha says that once I started mockery of a man or a woman in the presence of Holy Propet asws. So He said that if I get something even more in return, I will not mock anyone nor I like mockery. I said that Safia is this much; and then I pointed of her being dwarf/short heighted. Upon this Prophet asws said that You have said something which if mixed with water of sea, it will change colour of that”

{Molvi Zafar Iqbal mentions there that narration is Sahih as per Albany and Hasan Sahih as per Timidhi}

There are other Narrations too which speak of the same topic. Let us see

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْأَقْمَرِ، عَنْ أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ، حَكَتْ امْرَأَةً عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَكَرَتْ قِصَرَهَا، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ” قَدْ اغْتَبْتِيهَا “


Ayesha said that once she started mocking a woman and talked of her being dwarf in the presence of Holy Prophet asws. Upon this Holy Prophet asws said that you have done ghibat/back biting

Another Narration is

 حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْأَقْمَرِ، عَنْ أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا حَكَتْ امْرَأَةً، فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ” مَا

أُحِبُّ أَنِّي حَكَيْتُ أَحَدًا، وَأَنَّ لِي كَذَا وَكَذَا “

She said that once she started mocking  a woman in the presence of holy Prophet asws. Upon this holy Prophet asws said that even if I get something greater in return, I ll not mock nor I like it.

Please do keep in mind that the first narration mentions the name of Lady, and she was Bibi Safia. And We do know that She even broke Her utensils, which angered Holy Prophet asws. And that Narration can be found HERE
