salam

let us see what this nasibi writes his anti-shia book, tohfa ithna ashariyya

he writes

“salat-ud-dhuha/chast prayers are a sunnah in view of ahlusunnat. it comes in musnad imam ahmad with sahih sanad and tabarani notes in book of dua from ibn abbass in sahih narration that holy prophet asws said: i have been ordered to offer chasht prayers

[tohfa ithna ashariyya, urdu version, page 87]

plz note down how he has written this narration in arabic
keep in mind that i have used the snap shot from this book, so plz dont think that i am doing what nasibis do
i again say, note down how he has written the arabic part

now, let us see as to which narrations have been narrated by ibn abbass with these words

NARRATION NO. 1

the first narration which we get in musnad ahmad, since he is quoting from there is

first narration is

we can see that this narration has two problems,
one:- the wordings are not that which has been quoted by shah abdul aziz
second:- it had been termed daif by sheikh ahmad shakir

apart from him, this narration has been termed daif by ibn hajar, haithmi,
visit this link for further references

in urdu version, this narration comes in vol 2, page 59
and molvi zafar mentions opinion of sheikh shoaib that chain is daif

nawasib can say that this is not the narration

so, let us move to the next one

NARRATION NO. 2

holy prophet asws said that i have been ordered to offer 2 rakat of chasht and witr prayers, but it is not compulsory on the nation

[musnad ahmad, urdu version, 2/62]

keep in mind that sheikh shoaib has termed it daif chain due to jabir,
you can read more about him here

if we see the wordings of this narration, even they are different then the one being used

ok, let us try another one

NARRATION NO. 3

[Musnad ahmad, urdu, 2/67]

keep in mind that sheikh shoaib has termed it daif here as well due to jabar

and again, wordings are different

another narration

NARRATION NO. 4

[musnad ahmad, urdu version, 2/322: online link]

and on the same page, we have this one as well

[online link]

sheikh shoaib has termed them daif again due to jabir, under narration 2916 and 2917

again, the wordings are different than the one being used in tohfa ithna ashariyya

CONCLUSION

these are the 5 narrations which i could find in musnad

and none of them had the wordings which have been used by shah abdul aziz
which means that he has made two mistakes

1- he used wrong wordings [may be it is the mistake in urdu version, and that i am not aware of since i do not have access to persian version of this book

2- we see that he said that it comes with sahih sanad. i repeat, he said that it comes with sahih sanad. i understand that a weak sanad can be there with a narration termed sahih, but he termed the sanad sahih. and we have seen that narration had been weakened by sheikh shoaib, and it has jabir, who has been criticized by many

let me add that he said that narration has been taken up by tabarani,

sheikh shoaib has termed the last narration of this article daif, and he further said that this narration has been taken up by tabarani

and here is what tabarani said

here is the online link

and here is another form for it, though this is not the one

here is the online link for that

and we see that both the narrations come via jabir

i would be happy if someone can actually show me that SAHIH SANAD HADEETH from ibn abbass in musnad ahmad
