Let us find What Abu Mansoor Ibn Asaakar al-Damishqi wrote in His book, al-Arba’een fi Manaqib Umhaat-ul-Momineen, p. 71, Narration 11

And with the Chain to Umm Salma:

She said that Holy Prophet (asws) talked of Uprising/Khurooj of some Umhaat-ul-Momineen, and Ayesha laughed. So He said: Be watchful o Humaira that it is not You. Then He turned to Imam Ali. And said: O Ali! If you are the Wali of Her Amr, be gentle………..

This Narration is Hasan in Narrations of Umm Salma (r.a)

And in This Narration is Proof upon the Authenticity of His Prophethood as He had told what would occur, and it happened like that. This is proof on truthfulness of What He told about Acts of Akhirat/Last times.

So The Narration is Hasan in view of Scholar mentioned. And it is authentic enough for Him that He considered it as a Proof for Prophethood.

Sometime back, I had quoted Opinion of Qari Faidi, a Pakistani AhluSunnah Scholar, regarding Imam Ali (asws) being on Haq in His Battle with Ayesha. You can read that on THIS LINK. And This Narration was present in that Article, where in it was quoted from Mustadrak Imam Hakim.

Interestingly, a Nasibi objected to that. And He mentions

First of all we should mention that Hakim and Dhahabi DIDN’T authenticate this report.

Very strange in deed. Because Hakim did Authenticate the Narration. He had said regarding Three Narrations which He had mentioned before

All Three Narrations are Authentic on terms set by Sheikhain (bukhari and Muslim) But they did not write it.

And Dhabi objected by saying

They did not report from Abdul Jabbar.

Keep in mind Dhabi did not weaken anyone including Abdul Jabbar, who is Ibn al-Ward.

His main objection is that His Narrations were not included by Bukhari etc. And all the three Scholars, Ibn Asaakar, Hakim and Dhabi do not point to any other weakness like disconnection in the chain or weak Narrators etc.

What is more surprising is the fact, they the Author of the Article Knew about this all. I have no clue as to why He tried to deceive People. This is apparent from the fact that he quoted Abu Ishaq Haweeni. And He just quoted which suited Him. And left out what Abu Ishaq mentioned Just before what is mentioned by the Nasibi. He writes

Shaykh Abu Ishaq al-Huwayni after mentioning this view of Dhahabi said about this report:

And in the same way Ammar ad-Duhani (other narrator), Bukhari didn’t narrate from him a thing. And also I didn’t came across with anyone who would testify that Salim narrated from Umm Salamah (as in this report), and Allah knows best, and no matter what in my soul there is something (which force me to doubt) about authenticity of this report.(See his An Nafila fil ahadeth daifa wal batila p 58)

What We see from the writing of Abu Ishaq is, that He was biased in regards to this Narration, as is clear from His wordings coloured Red.

As regards to Narrator Ammar ibn Muawia al-Duhani, He was Trustworthy in view of Abu Hatim al-Razi, Ahmad bin Hanbal, Nisai, Yahya ibn Maeen. He was Narrator of Muslim, and not Bukhari as mentioned.

But If you refer to His book mentioned here, This is what You find which was skipped by the Nasibi.

(I will just quote Arabic, and Please look that Abu Ishaq Haweeni actually mentions What Hakim and Dhabi said Just before He gave His opinion which was Highlighted by This Nasibi)

So, Why He lied Shamelessly that Hakim did not Authenticate the Chain???

He also pointed to Salim bin abi Ja’d. He writes

As we can see this hadith is reported from Umm Salamah and from her narrated Salim ibn Abu Jad. He narrated this report in muanan form. In his bio in Mizan (2/ n 3045) it is said that he use to do tadlis and irsal.

Keep in mind that Ibn Hajar included Him in 2nd Category of Mudalaseen, in Tabqat-ul-Mudalaseen, p. 31

(Narrator of all Six books) Salim bin Abi Ja’d al-Kufi, Trustworthy, Famous in Taba’een. Dhabi mentioned Him with Tadlees in al-Mizan

This means He was not charged with Tadlees by Mutaqaddameen/Past Scholars. Salafi Scholar, Hafiz Zubair ali Zai, had said that He is free of Tadlees (al-Fath-ul-Mobeen fi Tehqeeq Tabaqat-ul-Mudalaseen, p. 39).

This objection is, therefore, rejected by Hafiz Zubair ali Zai.

Also keep in mind that None of the known Scholars of Past have raised Question on His Narrations from Umm Salma, Though His narrations from some Companions have been termed as Mursal.

Nasibi also points out

Lastly, Ibn Qayum in Manar wal Munif (n 89, p 183) said: All ahadeth where (Aisha) mentioned as Humaira are lies and fabrications. And in this report Ayesha(ra) was mentioned as Humaira.

Let us see what Sindi writes in His Hashiya-tu-Sindi a’la Sunan Ibn Maja, 2/92, Narration 2474. He says

Some of them said: All Narrations which have Humaira are Weak/Daif. And The EXCEPTION from that is, what is mentioned by Hakim with the Chain ……….. Hakim said: This Chain is Saheeh upon terms of Bukhari and Muslim

So, This Narration has been authenticated by Hakim, Ibn Asaakar and Sindi. Dhabi objected to the fact that Abdul Jabbar is not Narrator of Bukhari, but not to His trustworthiness.
