“it was a routine for hazrat ali asws that in the prayer of morning, he would recite qunoot, and he would say:-

o allah! curse mawia, amr bin aas, abu al ayoor aslama, habeeb bin muslima, abdur rehman bin khalid, dhahak bin qais, walid bin uqba

when mawia came to know about this, he also started qunoot and cursed ali asws, ibn abbas, ashtar, hasan and hussein”

Let us see a Narration from Mustadrak Imam Hakim

 

3327 – أخبرني أبو بكر محمد بن أحمد المزكي بمرو ثنا عبد الله بن روح المدايني ثنا يزيد بن هارون أنبأ هشام بن حسان عن محمد بن سيرين عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال : قال لي عمر : يا عدو الله و عدو الإسلام خنت مال الله قال : قلت لست عدو الله و لا عدو الإسلام و لكني عدو من عاداهما و لم أخن مال الله و لكنها أثمان إبلي و سهام اجتمعت قال فأعادها علي و أعدت عليه هذا الكلام قال فغرمني اثني عشر ألفا قال : فقمت في صلاة الغداة فقلت : اللهم اغفر لأمير المؤمنين فلما كان بعد ذلك أرادني على العمل فأبيت عليه فقال : و لم و قد سأل يوسف العمل و كان خيرا منك ؟ فقلت : إن يوسف نبي ابن نبي ابن نبي ابن نبي و أنا ابن أميمة و أنا أخاف ثلاثا و اثنتين قال : أو لا تقول خمسا ؟ قلت : لا قال : فما هن ؟ قلت : أخاف أن أقول بغير علم و أن أفتي علم و أن يضرب ظهري و أن يشتم عرضي و أن يؤخذ مالي بالضرب
هذا حديث صحيح بإسناد على شرط الشيخين و لم يخرجاه

one of the famous nasibi on the internet writes

Hadeeth: “”The nation will turn treacherous to you; you shall live adhering to my nation and will fight for my sunnah; whoever loves you loves me too and whoever hates you hates me too and this (`Ali’s beard) will be drenched with blood from this (`Ali’s head).” (Murajiat Letter 48, hadith #38).

Hakim narrated it in “Mustadrak” (#4686) without full chain, directly from Hayan Al-Asde from Ali. It’s impossible to check it. I found part of this hadith along with chain in “Kamil fi duafa” (5/194). It was narrated by Ali ibn Nazaar – Ziyad ibn Abu Ziyad al-Asde – Hayan – Ali: “You would live upon my nation, and will fight for my sunnah; whoever loves you loves me too and whoever hates you hates me too”. In the chain Ali ibn Nazaar. Ibn Maeen said that his ahadeth are nothing. Azdi said he’s extremely weak (“Mizanul itidal” 3/159/#5957).

now, what this great nasibi  has done is that he has tried to play the game with people in that he named his post such that he could cheat people; he started off with a hadeeth which he could prove daif, rather than going for the narration which is in deed authentic, and he easily named the post on that narration which is authentic

good example of hypocrisy

this hadeeth with which he named his post, is sahih inshallah

and in this article, we would take notice of this

1815 – حمار بكسر أوله وتخفيف ثانيه وآخره راء باسم الحيوان المشهور


hamar; with kasr of first and takhfeef of second, and last ra;
with name of famous animal

عبد الله يلقب حماراً

له صحبة



abdullah, his laqab was hamar; and he had the companionship

and we find in usud-ul-ghaba

عبد الله الملقب بالحمار
” د ع ” عبد الله . يلقب حمارا كان صاحب مزاح يضحك النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم ويهدي إليه


abdullah, and his laqab was hamar; and he was a man of humor; and would make prophet asws laugh, and give him gifts

so we come to know that he was a sahabi, and his laqab was donkey;

now

we find in bukhari, hadeeth 6780, chapter 5, book 86

6398 – حدثنا يحيى بن بكير حدثني الليث قال حدثني خالد بن يزيد عن سعيد ابن أبي هلال عن زيد بن أسلم عن أبيه عن عمر بن الخطاب
: أن رجلا على عهد النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم كان اسمه عبد الله وكان يلقب حمارا وكان يضحك رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم وكان النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم قد جلده في الشراب فأتي به يوما فأمر به فجلد فقال رجل من القوم اللهم العنه ما أكثر ما يؤتى به ؟ فقال النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم ( لا تلعنوه فوالله ما علمت إلا أنه يحب الله ورسوله )

“there was a man in the era of prophet asws, his name was abdullah, and he was famous by the name of hamar; he would make prophet laugh; and prophet had punished him for drinking wine; he was brought again drunk, prophet ordered him to be lashed, and so he was lashed; one of the man from nation said
“curse be on him, how many times he is brought (drunk)…..”
prophet said
“do not curse him; i know he loves allah and his prophet”

now, how many times was he punished?

we find ibn hajar writing in fath ul bari

فقد ذكر بن عبد البر أنه أتى به أكثر من خمسين مرة


no doubt, ibn abdul bar said that he was brought for (punishment) more than fifty times

did he repent in the lifetime of holy prophet asws?

well, no it was not the case, rather even umar punished him
we find this in al asaba

وروى أبو بكر المروزي في مسند أبي بكر له من طريق زيد بن أسلم أن عبد الله المعروف بحمار شرب في عهد عمر فأمر به عمر الزبير وعثمان فجلداه الحديث


abu bakr marozi writes in his musnid abu bakr from chain of zaid bin aslam that abdulllah who was famous as hamar, was brought in the era of umar; so umar ordered zubair and uthman to punish him, so they punished him.

still, will sunnis say that all sahaba are just?

we find in ahya uloom deen, by ghazali

وعن أنس بن مالك رضي الله عنه قال دخلت على عثمان رضي الله عنه وكنت قد لقيت امرأة في طريقي فنظرت إليها شزرا وتأملت محاسنها فقال عثمان رضي الله عنه لما دخلت يدخل علي أحدكم وأثر الزنا ظاهر على عينيه أما علمت أن زنا العينين النظر لتتوبن أولأعزرنك

anas bin malik said that i was coming to uthman, and saw a woman on my way, and thought about her beauty; thus, uthman said that a person would now enter from whom the sings of adultery would be apparent from his eyes; thus, he told me that do you not know that adultery of eyes is haram, so either you repent or i punish

we find

حدثنا عبدة بن سليمان عن عبد الملك بن أبي سليمان قال قلت لعطاء كان في أصحاب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أحد أعلم من علي؟ قال: لا والله ما أعلمه

ابن أبي شيبة في مصنفه ج6/ص371

first, we see the translation

we see that when ata was asked as if there was any one in the companions who was more knowledgeable than mola ali asws

he replied “by god! none, he was the most knowledgeable “

ibn hajar writes

4269- عبدة ابن سليمان الكلابي أبو محمد الكوفي يقال اسمه عبد الرحمن ثقة ثبت من صغار الثامنة مات سنة سبع وثمانين وقيل بعدها ع

next is

عبد الملك بن أبي سليمان


and dhabi wrote

وروى عبد الله بن أحمد عن أبيه أنه ثقة وقال العجلي ثقة ثبت وقال ابن عمار ثقة حجة وقال أبو نعيم حدثنا سفيان عن عبد الملك ثم قال الفسوي ثقة متقن فقيه

and

وقال أبو داود قلت لأحمد عبد الملك بن أبي سليمان قال ثقة قلت يخطىء قال نعم وكان من احفظ أهل الكوفة إلا أنه رفع أحاديث عن عطاء وسئل يحيى بن معين عن حديث عطاء عن جابر عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم في الشفعة فقال لم يحدث به إلا عبد الملك وقد أنكره عليه الناس ولكن عبد الملك ثقة صدوق

he introduced him in these words

عبد الملك بن أبي سليمان ( خت م 4 ) الامام الحافظ أبو محمد

and last is the one whose veiw we are seeing

عطاء

ibn hajar said regarding him

4591- عطاء ابن أبي رباح بفتح الراء والموحدة واسم أبي رباح أسلم القرشي مولاهم المكي ثقة فقيه فاضل

and dhabi introduced him in these words

الإمام شيخ الإسلام مفتي الحرم أبو محمد القرشي
