There is a very interesting narration in Saheeh Bukhari, 5/37

Sa’ad bin Abi Waqas, one of the 10 who were given news of Heaven, narrates: I did not hear Holy Prophet telling anyone walking Earth that He is amongst people of heaven except Abdullah bin Salam

This narration is also present in Saheeh Muslim, 4/1930

Now this is very strange that one of those who were part of Hadeeth Ashra Mubashira, he is saying that He did not hear it from Holy Prophet asws.

AhluSunnah may argue that he said “He did not hear Holy Prophet”; and not that “Holy Prophet did not say it”.

But the point is, He lived for quite some time. Do you think none of the Sahaba told him that He is part of the elite group?

And if some Sahabi did tell him, was he not aware that “All Sahaba are Adil/just” and that “Mursal of Sahabi is accepted”. Why was he not accepting their point then?

Now the main strategy for AhluSunnah would be do say: Well, none of the Sahaba ever told him, and We believe this.

Though it is very strange to believe, but let us talk about Hadeeth Ashra Mubashira. Read the rest of this entry »

In Sunni’s world of I’lm-ur-Rijal, this is an accepted principle that if a Sahabi has not even heard a narration from Holy Prophet asws, or He was not present at that time, but He says “Holy Prophet said”, it is considered as authentic.

For example,

Ibn Salah states this in his Moqaddama, p. 56;

Ibn Kathir in his Ikhtisaar Uloom-ul-Hadeeth, urdu translation, research by Sheikh Zubair Ali Zai p. 37 &  Sheikh Zubair Ali Zai wrote in the footnotes that Ibn Hajr stated that there is agreement between all Scholars of Hadeeth upon authenticity of Mursal of Sahabi

We already talked about Bashar Awad’s criticism on Ibn Hajr, and that can be read HERE.

Let us see what he says about another legend of I’lm-ur-Rijal in view of AhluSunnah, and How he exposes His hypocrisy

He writes in footnotes of Tehzeeb-ul-Kamal fi Isma-ur-Rijal, 5/579, while talking about famous Nasibi Hareez bin Uthman

Read the rest of this entry »

Ibn Hajr is one of the big guns of I’lm-ur-Rijal in view of AhluSunnah. While talking about a Narrator named Limaza bin Zabad, he says in Tehzeeb-ut-Tehzeeb, 8/457

Read the rest of this entry »

I just came across a post by a Nasibi website where in they have tried to respond to an article of mine, and that article can be read HERE

Now, they accept

While the narration appears to imply that what was brought was indeed an intoxicant, there is an alternative interpretation that we would rather share.

I had written an article some time back, which can be read HERE

I had mentioned the Narration like This

I came across a post where in I saw Nasibi website trying to refute me on a post I had written long ago, You can read That post of mine HERE.

What I personally feel is, that This website just wishes to write more and more about my posts, so that they can jump in front of their followers, and say That they have refuted me on so many times. Where as the reality is, They actually agreed to the fact that Shimr is in deed a narrator. See their words

Furthermore, it isn’t the whole Sunni school that narrated from Shimr, but rather, one man, Abu Ishaaq Al-Sabee’ee, who was, in fact, embarrassed, and didn’t want to even mention the man’s name.

Nasibi Website replied to one of my post, which can be seen HERE

They wrote

Ibn Umar saw it as permissible to touch slave girls (not directly, but with clothes as a separation) in order to inspect if they meet his requirements.

Really, He would inspect if they meet HIS requirements only?? Let us see another Narration

Abdur Razaq writes in His Musanif Read the rest of this entry »

In response to my Article, Nasibi Website Wrote

The Sunni creed does not attribute infallibility to the wives or companions of the Prophet (salalahu alaihi wa salam), and domestic squabbles between wives over their husband is very natural. Hafsa’s words were inappropriate, but it does not lower from her status.

One of the Nasibi website seems quite interested in my Blog. In their post on 30th July, 2014, They tried to Target a post published on 8th Nov, 201o.

I have no issues with that, IF they dont try to deceive Readers.

I have pointed to This fact before, that If I have translated someone’s work, or shared it, it does not become MY work.

But This Nasibi website tries to deceive people by saying that We are responding to Slave of Ahlubait’s Article.  Read the rest of this entry »
